How we can help

When every key has gone, the car needs a new key cut and coded to it. For most cars we can do that at the roadside or on your drive.

Ring with the registration and tell us where the car is. We will tell you straight away whether we can make the key there.

Once the new key is coded, the lost ones can usually be removed from the car's memory, so if they turn up in the wrong hands they will not start it.

Do I need to go to the main dealer?

Usually not. For most cars the new key is cut and coded at the car, so there is no recovery truck and no waiting for a part to be ordered.

What happens to the key I lost?

When the new key is coded, the lost key can usually be removed from the car's memory so it no longer starts it. Ask us about this when you call.

What if I find the old key later?

If it was removed from the car's memory it will not start the car. Call us and we can look at coding it back in as a spare.
